PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Sometimes simple catches the most fish. Pairing the Prodigy with a lightweight jighead creates a natural finesse swimbait presentation that can be fished throughout the water column. Whether bass are actively chasing bait or you need to slow down and target more reluctant fish, this is a technique we have confidence in year round.
Choose the 3" Prodigy when fish are keyed in on smaller forage or when you want a more compact presentation. Step up to the 4.1" Prodigy when you want a larger profile and more drawing power.
Pair the 3" Prodigy with a 1/0 BKK Hyperlatch Tungsten Jighead and the 4.1" Prodigy with a 3/0 BKK Hyperlatch Tungsten Jighead. Select your jighead weight based on the depth you want to fish. Lighter weights allow the Prodigy to stay higher in the water column, while heavier weights help you reach deeper fish and maintain better control in the wind.
In most situations, we are fishing the Prodigy through the middle of the water column with a slow, steady retrieve. Allow the bait to reach the desired depth, then adjust your retrieve speed to keep it in the strike zone. Let the natural swimming action of the Prodigy do the work.
There is one important exception. During the winter on highland reservoirs, we have had great success allowing the Prodigy to reach the bottom and slowly crawling it along while maintaining bottom contact. Slow everything down and keep the bait close to the bottom. This can be an incredibly effective way to target cold water bass that are less willing to chase.
When you get bit, avoid immediately setting the hook. Keep reeling, allow the rod to load, and let the super sharp BKK hook and your rod do the work.

What is the return policy?
Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging if applicable, and the product must be undamaged.

To complete your return, we require proof of purchase. To return your product, email us at customerservice@castfishing.co to arrange. You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable.
