At CAST, we've always believed fishing is about much more than products.
It's about passion, hard work, relationships, and helping good people chase BIG dreams.
Today, we're incredibly proud to congratulate Brody Robison on securing the 2026 Bassmaster Opens Division 2 Angler of the Year title and punching his ticket to the Elite Qualifiers, giving him an opportunity to compete for a spot on the Bassmaster Elite Series.
For those who know Brody, this accomplishment comes as no surprise.
He has quietly put together one of the most impressive seasons in professional bass fishing, showcasing consistency, composure, and an unwavering commitment to improving every time he launches his boat.
A Season to Remember

Brody's 2026 season was highlighted by several outstanding performances:
- 4th Place – Sam Rayburn Reservoir
- 35th Place – Grand Lake
- 11th Place – Kentucky Lake
- 14th Place – Upper Mississippi River
Those finishes were enough to secure the Division 2 Angler of the Year title and earn an opportunity to compete in the Elite Qualifiers, where the next step toward fishing professionally on the Bassmaster Elite Series awaits.
Brody summed up his season perfectly:
"Just a super blessed first half of the season with a great support system backing me."
We couldn't agree more.
Enjoying the Journey

One of the coolest parts of following Brody's season has been watching him fish with complete confidence. While he incorporated our 7.2 Echo and X12 braid into his approach at times throughout the year, his success is ultimately a reflection of the countless hours he's invested on the water and his commitment to becoming the best angler he can be. We're simply grateful to be a small part of the journey.
As anglers ourselves, there's nothing more rewarding than seeing someone pursue a dream with the same passion and determination that inspired us to start CAST in the first place.
The Future Is Bright

Brody has already built an impressive resume and continues to prove he belongs among the best young anglers in the country. His work ethic, humility, and willingness to learn are qualities that we admire immensely.
At CAST, we're honored to play a small role in his journey.
No matter what happens next, we believe Brody is just getting started.
The Elite Qualifiers present another challenge and another opportunity, and we'll be cheering him on every step of the way.
Congratulations, Brody.
Thank you for representing CAST with class, trusting us along the way, and reminding us all what can happen when talent, preparation, and perseverance come together.
We can't wait to see what's next.
