THE COMPREHENSIVE CASTING DISTANCE EXPERIMENT
I don't know about you, but I'm tired of my casts just not making it far enough to reach schooling Bass, and spooking them by getting too close. So today, we're going to find out if our braid has been holding us back the entire time.
Can we achieve noticeably longer casts just by changing the line on our spool? We grabbed ourselves a few of the most popular braids on the market, sourced a measuring tape, a bunch of marker cones, went down to the local park and got our steps up as we compared 12lb braid from three different brands on the same exact setup. Follow along for this experiment, as we find out with us if changing our braid can translate to noticeably longer casts.
